-Llanes is a council that covers much of the eastern coast of Asturias. It comprises the village of Llanes and many other small villages whose main feature is their proximity to both the sea and the “Cuera mountains” ;, a mountain range along the coast being composing a landscape of great beauty.
-The main attraction of Llanes are its beaches, many small coves with calm and transparent water throughout all east asturian coast. And constitute a set of 25 beaches, one of the reasons why Llanes is one of the main tourism areas in whole Asturias.
Llanes is a small fishing village with cobbled streets. Part of its old wall which served to protect the town centuries ago can be seen yet in the old town. And its charming fishing port and the festive atmosphere that always make you breathe a pleasure through each of its corners.
Joining the village to the sea, two rides out to meet with. The harbor promenade, with characteristic and original “Cubes of Memory” painted by: Ibarrola, are decorating the breakwater. And other side of town, the “Paseo de San Pedro:”
